General Assembly is the prime legislative and decision-making body of the UPCSA. In Sept 2010 a General Assembly met in Vereeniging. Documents of that assembly are available - go to Home Page -  Docs&Forms. They may also be obtained from the Central Office on CD.

Body of Christ

Note this diagram does not represent an hierarchical power and authority structure.

The people who constitute the lowest levels (in sessions / congregations) elect representatives to the highest level (general assembly) and some of these may, in turn, be elected to the post of Moderator (of General Assembly, or Synods, or Presbyteries.)

General Assembly, Executive Commissions are described on the Governance pages on top menu.
